Chase the Impossible

With the long humdrum’s of February behind us we can once again look towards the future. Spring is in the air, the ground is coming alive with the first yearnings of spring. There on the horizon, just beyond what we can expect, lay our dreams. To reach them we will need to strive harder, work longer, and will ourselves further than we ever imagined we could. Our dreams are waiting, it’s up to us to go get them.

We choose to chase our dreams because they challenge us, because they stretch us, because they demand answers we do not have. We strive, and we seek, and we quest after something that is ethereal. Our dreams live on the edge of what we think is possible. They dance in a space we can imagine but is not quite real yet. One moment it seems the dream is right there, ready to be grasped and in the blink of an eye, everything can change.

It is a mantra repeated over and over here at the Dream Anvil, your dreams are your own. As such it is up to us to go out and get them. No one is going to dream our dreams for us. The dreamers must carry forth their own dreams. This month we will look at some of the ways we chase after our goals. The tenacious genius, the venerable artist, the steady builder and the multifaceted team, all share common traits that we can use to find our own paths forward as we chase the impossible.

We do not chase out dreams alone. On each side of us, everywhere we go, we are surrounded by other dreamers. Some of them are our rivals, others our compatriots, all of us reaching for our own dream and prize. Each of us have our own dreams, and the reasons we chase after them are as numerous as the stars in the sky. Each of us have one thing in common, the desire to succeed. To achieve what others told us was impossible, to drag our dreams from the intangible into the physical. It is time to take action. There is no better time than right now.
