Path of Glory

Today is Super Bowl Sunday. A day when we gather to watch the NFL's top athletes go for the championship. This is the moment some of these men have waited for their entire season, maybe even their entire career. This is their ultimate moment of glory or defeat, no one that steps onto that field today will be giving nothing less than their all.

The Path of Vanity

Here we are, it is the end of the first month of the New Year. Most of us by now have either quit our resolutions, or are struggling with them. A rare few are actually succeeding with their resolutions, and I would like to postulate a moment on why. Why Is it that some of our goals seem to be so easy to achieve and others feel like such drudgery? Why is it that some people seem to be able to set a goal and achieve it seemingly on a whim? The reason, or at least a large part of the reason comes down to the motivations one has when they choose their goals.

Newtonian Kind of Life

Ever notice how you tend to continue doing things once you start them? Cleaning the kitchen becomes the living room, the dinning room, the house. Or how you tend to stay energetic when you exercise a bit? I have! It seems that no matter what it is I end up doing, be it something productive or something lazy, I tend to continue down that path for a day, a night or a week. I have called this Newtonian Living, because...well I wanted to.

Reclaim Your Day

So over Christmas I received Skyrim as a gift, and well, it's since gone on to completely wreck my schedule. It is the second week of the New Year and my goals are already approaching states of failure. Why? Because I've been careless with my time, having spent the vast majority of it playing games.

Positioned for Launch

Last week everyone made New Years Resolutions, goals and objectives each of us wishes to fulfill in the coming year. So in honor of that over the next few weeks I will be posting about how to go about accomplishing ones goals. Everyone knows that by March the vast majority of Americans will have quit their new found goals.
