Three years ago I absolutely fell in love with this part of the world. The rich cultures, the ancient sites and ultra modern buildings are like nothing else. The people here will greet you with a smile, and will leave a lasting impression on the most jaded of travelers. As I left Japan back in 2008 I vowed that one day I would return. That day is here at last. This year I will be traveling to not just Japan but South Korea, a land that is as fiercely traditional as it is progressively modern. My trip is now over but you can still read all about it right here! Or check out the photos!!
Newtonian Kind of Life
Ever notice how you tend to continue doing things once you start them? Cleaning the kitchen becomes the living room, the dinning room, the house. Or how you tend to stay energetic when you exercise a bit? I have! It seems that no matter what it is I end up doing, be it something productive or something lazy, I tend to continue down that path for a day, a night or a week. I have called this Newtonian Living, because...well I wanted to.
Reclaim Your Day
So over Christmas I received Skyrim as a gift, and well, it's since gone on to completely wreck my schedule. It is the second week of the New Year and my goals are already approaching states of failure. Why? Because I've been careless with my time, having spent the vast majority of it playing games.
Positioned for Launch
Last week everyone made New Years Resolutions, goals and objectives each of us wishes to fulfill in the coming year. So in honor of that over the next few weeks I will be posting about how to go about accomplishing ones goals. Everyone knows that by March the vast majority of Americans will have quit their new found goals.
Onwards to the Future
Welcome to 2012! This will be the year you finally hold onto and accomplish all of your resolutions right? Right! As you know, every New Years I go over my old resolutions and make new ones to try and tackle. This year is no exception! But first lets take a look back at 2011, a blockbuster year in terms of accomplishments.
A Season of Joy
It is down to the final week before Christmas. Many of us will be spending the precious few remaining days rushing around either traveling or trying to find last minute gifts. As we shuffle about we greet each other with “Merry Christmas.” Yet rarely do we say it with a smile that touches our eyes. Mostly it's just words. We are tired. We just want to go home. So we say our greetings and go our ways, never giving it a second thought. Yet a "Merry Christmas" is exactly what we all want. So much so that we stress ourselves out trying to make it all perfect.
